An ARF park flyer with the "Wright" stuff
On December 17, 1903, Orville and Wilbur Wright accomplished the first sustained, manned flight of a powered, heavier-than-air craft. It began a series of aviation triumphs that now challenge the very frontiers of space. Based on the Wrights' famous plane, this Great Planes park flyer can be ready for its first triumphant takeoff in less than two hours — and includes everything you'll need except radio
- Comes with two 250-size motors; gear drives; electronic speed control; 7-cell 300mAh NiMH battery pack; and two propellers.
- Features a lightweight plastic framework, foam wings, and stiff, shock-absorbing carbon-fiber primary fuselage struts.
- Low weight and simplified control surfaces combine for stable, responsive performance, even at very low speeds.
- Most parts simply snap into place, and are secured with easy-to-use strut caps.

| | "This ARF takes you back to the beginning, with the same look of the original Wright Flyer — and with the quality and craftsmanship you always expect from Great Planes."

Note: Some models require a 3-channel radio system, but a 4-channel will also work and it's beneficial because the modeler can use it in a wider range of applications with larger aircraft in the future. It depends on whether the modeler plans on using their radio for different uses other than just this airplane. Also please note that some radios come with receiver, crystal and/or servos.
