The Super Stearman is perfect for "grab & go" flying at a nearby park or across town at the field. At just 36" span, it's easy to carry by hand and an easy fit for a car or truck even when it's assembled.
The ailerons are factory-hinged, which simplifies assembly and saves you time.
The painted fiberglass cowl arrives with the replica radial engine already installed. Magnets and a "keyed" design make sure you can align it and "lock" it in place almost instantly. Fairings provide a smooth, easy transition from the fuselage to landing gear.
The wheel pants attach fast and hold tight. No wood screws here: the one-piece aluminum landing gear is drilled for machine bolts which snug down into blind nuts inside the wheel pants.
The painted pilot busts and windscreens are glued to the hatch, which guarantees effortless good looks. Like the cowl, the hatch is magnetically attached for secure "hold" in flight and easy battery access on the flight line.
The interlocking fin and stabilizer eliminate the need for repeated measurements. Just center the stabilizer on the fuselage, insert the fin and lock them both into perfect alignment.
The steerable tailwheel ensures solid, precise handling taxiing with just a touch of rudder.
