Eagle 580
A high-flying Eagle of exceptional quality.

Matt Chapman's famous Eagle 580 Unlimited Class aerobat now rules the R/C flying field as a 50" span electric! State-of-the-art construction and prefabrication have resulted in an Almost-Ready-to-Fly thrill-seeker that stands out from the rest — in both looks AND performance!

  • Perfectly captures the style and spirit of airshow legend Matt Chapman's personal ride.
  • An ultra-light airframe and airfoiled control surfaces offer precision tracking and incredible agility.
  • Includes die-cut decals for recreating the Embry-Riddle Eagle 580 — or modelers can opt for a totally customized trim scheme.

Eagle 580 wing joiner
The wing tube joiner is made of carbon fiber. It aligns the wing automatically and allows for easy transport to and from the field.

Eagle 580 motor
This airplane will fly unlimited aerobatics with the RimFire™ .32 motor. The motor box is preinstalled with blind nuts, providing perfect spacing for the spinner backplate without the need for any measuring.

Eagle 580 canopy
Removing the canopy provides easy access to the battery compartment. Powerful magnets hold the one-piece canopy/hatch securely in place.

spacer Eagle 580 wheel pants
Low-profile axles eliminate bulky bolts and give the wheel pants a super-clean look. The self-aligning wheel pants and landing gear are made of lightweight fiberglass.

Eagle 580 cowl
Durable fiberglass gives the cowl a quality appearance. The cowl ring and magnets are pre-glued and factory-aligned.
