The T-400 ferrite motor is designed for use with park flyers and other airplanes that require a 400-size motor. It features a solid can, single wind armature, fixed timing and bronze bushings.

T-400GD Motor System

Efficiency and more flying time go together — and with the T-400 GD (Gear Drive) Motor System, so does economy. It's ideal for larger park flyers and small electrics — and for pilots who already have a wiring harness or ESC on-hand, it's also a very affordable way to "trade up" from direct-drive to gear drive. The T-400 motor offers bushings for economy and ferrite magnets for strong performance. The aluminum gearbox is open and assembled, for easy access to the smooth-running brass pinion/nylon gear combo. Its 3:1 gear ratio lets the motor run efficiently — and gives the pilot the option to replace the included 10x7 prop with bigger, "pitchier" props.

T-400GD ESC Motor System

If pack duration is a problem, a gear drive system is a great answer. It allows a motor to operate at or near peak rpm and efficiency, which minimizes power lost to waste heat. At the same time, the gearbox allows the use of larger, more aggressively pitched props, which improves thrust and climbing power. Combine a bushing motor and gearbox with an ultra-light, ultra-efficient electronic speed control — and you have the T-400GD ESC Motor System. It's complete except for battery pack, with all wiring and connectors already in place for fast, easy installation. Includes an APC 10x7 Slo-Flyer prop, but brake on the included C-20 ESC makes it easy to add a folding prop for added efficiency and longer flights.

C-20 ESC features: "Safe Start" software, brake, BEC, auto cut-off, set-up LED, on-off switch, 1.5kHz switching, thermal and reverse polarity protection, Schottky diode, installed battery and receiver connectors and 180-day limited warranty.
